Recircling Research 2020-2021

Against the background of the global energy crisis, brought about by the exhaustion of both natural and human resources, “Recircling” reflects on the way we go about the energy resources both of our own bodies and of our planet. Inspired by movement principles which can be observed in pendulum-like objects, renewable energy technologies, as well as perpetuum mobile principle, both as a hypothetical machine and a principle for musical composition, the project investigates the notion of energy through physical, artistic, acoustic and choreographic modalities.

The project is currently in its research phase, production is planed for 2022.
